Playground
Large, safe and secure outdoor play area , enabling children to explore and enjoy our stimulating activities.
This includes our construction area, music board, maths and mark making area, art and crafts shed.
Our fairy garden with soft cushions and seating area under the shade of a tree, provides a peaceful, cosy, reading area.
Our café herb garden provides an ideal place for the children to sit and have picnics and snack time.
The children plant and grow their own vegetables in our large nursery vegetable patch. They are responsible for keeping them watered each day and once ready, the children will pick them. The vegetables are then washed and cut by the children and used in their nursery meals
Our nature area enables the children to develop their physical skills whilst climbing on the logs and sleepers.
They also go on mini beast hunts with magnifying glasses looking for bugs and insects. We have nesting boxes and bird feeders so we can learn and find out more about birds and their habitat. Each year the children enjoy watching the life cycle of caterpillars to butterflies and watch the butterflies being released into the wild when fully grown.
Children also have access to the large playing field behind the nursery where we hold regular sports events which include football matches, obstacle courses, parachute and ball games
