This large, bright and airy room provides plenty of space for the children to move freely and explore educationally based activities whilst still having fun.
Children broaden their experiences with organised walks to places of interest around the village including weekly trips to the library. They also take part in baking, crafting, dressing up, messy play, music and dance sessions.
Two year checks are completed the month after the child turns 2 and this report is given to the child’s carer and health visitor.
Our curriculum focuses on helping this age group to manage their emotions and encouraging them to share and take turns. We also encourage the children to develop their self-help skills and independence, preparing them ready for their final move into pre-school.
